By generating real-time earthquake hazard maps using data from Strong Ground Motion Recording Devices (KYHKC) to be produced by TÜBİTAK before or during an earthquake, to rapidly calculate the damage this hazard would cause to the natural gas infrastructure within the İGDAŞ area of responsibility, and by transmitting the results to the relevant departments, institutions and organisations, to establish a real-time risk mitigation system that facilitates the improvement of the existing natural gas infrastructure and enables field teams to intervene.
