Project Objective
The aim of this project, as defined by Boğaziçi University’s BDTİM and SHOD, is to identify potential tsunami hazards and damage across 45 tsunami forecast zones by digitising buildings, jetties, ports and other coastal structures within a GIS environment, and to develop a bathymetric data model using GEBCO, ASTER and SHOD Multibeam–Singlebeam data.
